About Frans Wang

Frans Jun Hua Wang

IS A Shanghai BASED PHOTOGRAPHER, graduated from Shanghai Practical Technique Academy major in Interior and Environment Design, after that he had attended numerous photography workshop, including the famous John Sexton and Anne Larsen’s Expressive black and white print workshop in Carmel Valley, CA. also Professor Feng Jianguo’s large format photography and analog darkroom print workshop in Beijing China.

Frans is currently living and working in Shanghai, he is doing the fine art photographer and analog print maker.  

Start from later 2008, Frans started to use the large format view camera to capture and record the disappearing Shanghai heritage building, then develop and print in his darkroom. His works include “Former Residence of Chen Chuxiang”,”Former Residence of Gu Jiatang’ and so on which are collected by ShanghaiMuseum of history.
